The trio of French Quarter festivals happening around the Mint and the French Market continue today. The Louisiana Seafood Festival has all kinds of great food:

Ninja Restaurant-Shoft Shell Crab and Catfish Po’Boy
That truffled seafood salad is amazing!! As my husband put it, “Truffle oil is the rich man’s MSG.”

Shrimp Peeling Challenge Sunday at the Outback Stage at 1:30 and 3:30 with finals at 4:30 p.m. Grand Prize Winner will recieve two roundtrip Southwest Airline tickets, a stay at Hilton Hotel property and a $100 Outback Gift Certificate. Winner will be able to claim prize after they compete with Australia’s Prawn Peeling Champion at the Great American Seafood Cook-Off in New Orleans on August 7.
