The Fringe Festival folks have produced a risque, mid-year taste of their annual theater festival in November. The “Adult Petting Zoo” promises to be a series of interactive “exhibits” that explore such themes as politics and pornography, and gender identity and the medical establishment. It includes works by, ahem, Jazz Hand Job, Skin Horse Theater, Gabrielle Reisman and Monique Moss, Alyson Perry and Goat in the Road productions…Maybe not your Mother’s Day date with Mom.
At the Marigny Theatre at the Allways Lounge. Continues tonight at 8, and Saturday at 8 and midnight. $15.
